WIVES: JUST FIX IT IF YOU CAN

Elimelech made a terrible decision in Ruth 1:1-2. He moved his family from Bethlehem to Moab in the time of famine. That decision became a fatal one as the lives of three family members were lost including that of Elimelech. The two sons later died after the got married. When Naomi assessed her situation, she was able to recognize A CHANGE IN THE SEASON. In Ruth 1:22 the bible says she returned to Bethlehem in the beginning of the barley harvest. A woman has the capacity and grace to bring restoration where there have been errors or mistakes have been made in the family; it is the woman that usually picks up the pieces and tries to hold the family together. God made a woman to be a help meet for the man. Where there was a loss, Noami girded up the loins of her life. She did not mind that she will be ridiculed infact she ridiculed herself before anyone could ridicule her by saying Call me “Mara”. She was a woman who decided to MOVE PAST her pain, she was ready to give her DESTINY a push and no wonder she recovered the LINEAGE relevance and remembrance for her family by arranging for Ruth to marry Boaz. Due to a woman who decided to “Fix” the mistake made by her husband, Obed was born. Obed was the father of Jesse and Jesse gave birth to David. Our Lord Jesus came from the lineage of David. Jesus is called the ROOT OF JESSE. Wives, next time you are disappointed because of a poor decision your husband made, especially if it led to a loss, ask God to give you the grace and capacity to bring about restoration. This is not encouraging men to be slothful or careless. But the journey of a marriage can be so difficult sometimes when you do not have the eyes of your understanding enlightened so as to know why you are called a HELP MEET. Elimelech made a decision that took his own life, so if he had the benefit of hindsight he probably would not have moved. I pray that the Lord will grant you every grace you need to step in where your husband has a deficiency. May you have the wisdom to mend relationships broken by your husband like Abigail did. You are uniquely designed by God to be a SOLUTION PROVIDER. As you fix the broken pieces of your marriage, God will give you more grace and open on to you more effectual doors. Do not be bitter, angry or complain about your husband’s failures or weaknesses. JUST FIX IT IF YOU CAN. Busola Jegede

Habakkuk 3:2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. STABLE RELATIONSHIPS- BALANCED CHILDREN

The marriage relationship is a strategic relationship. Unlike other types of family relationships where you do not chose who is related to you in one way or the other, in marriage you determine the one you build a family with. As it were it is like laying a foundation for other family relationships to spring from. Your marriage is so important and it is a foundation that can determine how successful you will be; a stable marriage helps in achieving one’s purpose in life as well as shaping the offspring’s for life. God depends on us to mentor the next generation starting from our children. Ever before a child can make his/her choice in life, the parents are responsible for making choices on his/her behalf. I will like to start from the issue of parents as individuals that greatly influence the development of their children and then we will see how the type of marriage they have will also affect their children. As individuals, our Character types have a great impact on our children. So we need to know what category we belong to. Studies have proved that there are four character groups: Choleric, Sanguine, Phlegmatic and Melancholy. It is important for us to know so we can work on the weaknesses and harness the strengths. For instance a Choleric Father or Mother should try to be less over bearing so that the children’s self-esteem is not crushed. A Melancholic Father may need to be more outspoken especially when dealing with children who tend to be hyper active. Melancholies tend to withdraw to their shell but a parent cannot do this all the time and be successful. When it comes to stable marital relationships, it is interesting to note the following:

Man is like a digital being. It is as though the human mind or the soul has the characteristics of a technological gadget.

There are messages you pass across to someone without speaking a word. The power of intuition is so great yet it cannot be explained. What am I trying to say; As parents our non- verbal communication as well as messages we transmit via human wifi or Bluetooth all play a part in shaping our children. 2. Children learn by example. In Titus 2 v 3-4 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; ⁴That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, We see here that women are natural teachers. You teach using different training tools

Your attitude, emotions and reactions are imbibed by your children. Children who come from homes where the parents have a fairly stable relationship are usually more settled in life. 3. Parents should speak with one voice. 4. Stability in marriage

Reaffirms the child and boosts his self confidence
If there is instability, the children can become anxious and their academic performance may fall, begin to bed wet, or go into vices such as drinking, smoking or other things in order to deal with their emotions.
Where there is abuse in a marriage, the child will tend to be abusive when he or she grows up
When parents fight or disagree openly in front of the children, it makes the children feel vulnerable, insecure or guilty, thinking they might have caused the issue of disagreement.

What we see often are individual parents doing their best for their children. Beyond this we need to present a united front so that our children will feel secure. TIPS

As much as possible work on your relationship and avoid outbursts in front of the children.
Do not report your husband or wife to your children
Do not expose the weaknesses of your spouse to the children in order to gain their support.
Show open affection to your spouse; it is a good lesson for the children to learn
Children should not know who owns what money in the family
Each parent has something to offer for balance to exist in their children’s lives.

*Father figure is important as well as a mothers love.

Love should be balanced with discipline.
Parents should try to fulfill their responsibility of time and care and not make up with gifts.

Dysfunctional marriages make children have bad attitudes, bad conduct or seek attention through negative behavior. They may also become overly fearful. Do not pursue money or ambition, to the detriment of your family. Divorced or separated parents need to have a female or male figure that will fill the gap. Nutrition is also important for healthy growth of children. ***Your labor of love over your family will be rewarded in Jesus name. God bless you

100 DAYS OF FIRE AND POWER

DAY 66: I CALL BACK MISSED OPPORTUNITIES Judges 13:8 Then Manoah intreated the Lord, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. PRAYERS 1. Lord I thank you for you are the giver of opportunities in Jesus name. 2. Every opportunity that I have missed, restore oh Lord in Jesus name. 3. Every financial limitation in my life, be broken in Jesus name. 4. 1 Samuel 16:3 and 6 And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.............. Every missed opportunity in my life because of someone else’s error, I call you back in Jesus name. 5. And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the Lord's anointed is before him............ Father locate every area of difficulty and painful labour in my life in Jesus name. 6. Ezekiel 12:25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God..............I call forth quick manifestation of God’s promises for my life in Jesus name. 7. Isaiah 55:5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee........... For every missed opportunity, I call forth nations that I do not know to come forth with opportunities in Jesus name. 8. I call forth nations that do not know me to open up to me in Jesus name. 9. Opportunities known and unknown to me, manifest in Jesus name. 10. In the name of Jesus, I receive the spirit of discernment to recognize opportunities, and the spirit of wisdom to take full advantage of them in Jesus name. 11. I prophesy to every missed opportunity, be restored in Jesus name. 12. I pray for national and international opportunities to spring forth for Nigeria and Israel in Jesus name. DAY 67: I CALL FORTH MY TREASURES Isaiah 45:1-3 Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. PRAYERS 1. Father I thank you for your treasures reserved for me in Jesus name. 2. Every spiritual and physical treasure that is still hidden from me, be released in Jesus name. 3. All my financial treasures still in darkness, be released to me this year in Jesus name. 4. All my human treasures and relationship treasures be released to me this year in Jesus name. 5. Every hidden riches of mine in secret places Lord, lead me to them in Jesus name. 6. Deuteronomy 32:34 Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?..........Father this year I take possession of every sealed treasure of mine in Jesus name. 7. Deuteronomy 33:19 They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand........Every treasure hidden in the sand, be released to me in Jesus name. 8. Ezra 6:1 Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon......... Every laid up treasure, be released to me in Jesus name. 9. Job 38: 22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail..........Every treasure of the snow and hail, be released to me in Jesus name. 10. Jeremiah 41:8 But ten men were found among them that said unto Ishmael, Slay us not: for we have treasures in the field, of wheat, and of barley, and of oil, and of honey. So he forbare, and slew them not among their brethren........ I call forth agricultural treasures and intellectual treasures in Jesus name. 11. Colossians 2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge........ Treasures of wisdom and knowledge, I call you forth upon my life in Jesus name. 12. National and International treasures of Nigeria and Israel come forth in Jesus name. DAY 68: EVERLASTING LIGHT Isaiah 60:20- Your sun shall no more go down: neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be your everlasting light and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank you for your mighty hand upon my family and I always in Jesus name
Father, I decree and declare that my sun shall never go down. I shall continue to shine brighter and brighter in Jesus name.
The sun over my family, marriage, ministry and business will not go down but continually shine in Jesus name.
Oh Lord, the moon over my destiny will not withdraw itself. It will give its light even in my night seasons in Jesus name.
Oh Lord, be an everlasting light for my family and I in Jesus name. Help us never to walk in darkness in Jesus name.
Father, continually shine your light on our paths in Jesus name.
According to Psalm32:8, I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Father guide my family and I with Your eyes in Jesus name.

Oh Lord let your everlasting light illuminate every dark areas of my life in Jesus name.
Father, l decree by your mercy, that the days of my mourning is over and that my joy has come In Jesus name.
According to Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Oh Lord, let the Sun of righteousness arise over my family and I with healing in His wings in Jesus name

I prophesy that the everlasting light of the Most High will transform me and take me to new heights in every area of my life In Jesus name.
Father let the everlasting light of God shine over the nations of Nigeria and Israel in Jesus name.

DAY 69: NO MORE FEAR Psalm 118:6 The Lord is on my side: I will not fear. What can man do to me? Prayer: 1. Thank you Lord for always being on my side in Jesus name. 2. Psalm 23: 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.........Though I walk through the shadow of death throughout this year, Lord help me to fear no evil in Jesus name. 3. I decree that I and my family have not the spirit of fear, but of love of power and a sound mind in Jesus name. 4. Psalm 64:1 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy...........Oh Lord, Preserve my life from fear of the enemy this year in Jesus name. 5. Father help me to abide in your secret place throughout this year in Jesus name. 6. Every seed of fear in my heart, be completely uprooted in Jesus name. 7. The Lord God will help me this year, I shall not be moved in Jesus name. 8. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord............No weapon formed against my family and I will prosper in Jesus name 9. Psalm 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins............Oh Lord, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end over my life this year in Jesus name. 10. Psalm 17: 13 Arise, O Lord, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:............. Arise , O Lord, Confront him, cast him down; Deliver my life from the wicked with your sword in Jesus name. 11. I prophesy that fear will have no place in my heart in Jesus name. 12. Father may your saving hand rest upon Nigeria and Israel in Jesus name. DAY 70: ARISE AND SHINE ISAIAH 60:1-2 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon PRAYER:

I call forth the glory of the Lord upon my life, marriage, ministry and business in Jesus name 7. This year, my light will so shine before men, that they will give God glory in Jesus name. 8. Every power contending with my rising, I receive victory over you in the name of Jesus. 9. I declare the light of God over every dark area of my life and destiny In Jesus name. 10. I pull down every strong hold of darkness over my family, marriage, ministry and business in Jesus name. 11. I prophesy a glorious manifestation in every area of my life this year in Jesus name. 12. Oh Lord, arise over Nigeria and Israel, show forth your glory in every sector in Jesus name.

THE EQUIPPED LADY

Dearly beloved, So soon we are in the second month of the year. This year promises to be one of possibility and power. We dropped down running from January 1st with our 100 days FIRE AND POWER program holding every 6am – 7am till April 10th 2015. How equipped are you for this year of ENLARGEMENT AND INCREASE? The Equipped Lady is the woman dressed inwardly and outwardly for spiritual warfare and ready to be an agent of change in her world. She is the battle axe of the Lord, ready to make an impact in her generation like; Deborah, Esther and Ruth. WHY DO WE NEED TO BE EQUIPPED? • Carelessness is dangerous. If I know a thing is important, I pay attention to it. Greatness requires hard-work, spiritually and physically. • We must be fully armed for the challenges ahead. John 16:33……These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. • There is an enemy who goes around to attack every believer and even unbelievers without being provoked. John 10:10, 1 Peter 5:8…….Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: • We are dealing with demonic beings and not human beings. Ephesians 6:12 ….. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. • We must equip ourselves so that we do not fall prey to the enemy. Ephesians 6:11……Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. THE ARMOUR OF GOD • An armour is any covering worn as a defence against weapons or attack. • An armour PROTECTS the person wearing it. • Prevention they say is better than cure. Many Christians have sadly become casualties in the Christian race because they did not take precautions • Do not be naive life is a battle, that is why the bible says fight the good fight of faith. 1 Tim 6:12…………… Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. THE BELT OF TRUTH • This make us agile for the battle. • One of the weapons of the devil is lies and half truths. • Do not succumb to the lie of the devil. • You do not have to compromise in life always stand on the truth, it pays off eventually. • The truth may hurt you but it will heal you. THE BREAST PLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS • The breastplate is to protect our hearts and other vital organs. • The heart is the seat of our emotions and feelings like; self-worth, confidence, faith etc. • The devil attacks our hearts with fear, doubt, insecurity etc. • When our thoughts are based on the Word of God, then we will have the right emotions. FOOTWEAR OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE • We must have readiness to spread the good news of the gospel. • Evangelism is an armour of protection because it announces to people who you are and it upholds your faith . • Telling others about Christ makes Christianity to grow. THE SHIELD OF FAITH • This is to deflect the fiery darts of the enemy. • The first dart the enemy throws is doubt e.g. Eve in the garden of Eden (Genesis 3 : 1) the devil caused her to doubt the commandment of God, The devil also said, to Jesus, ‘If you are the son of God...’ • The purpose of the shield is to prevent the fiery dart from hitting the body because those arrows are usually poisoned. • The sting of the arrows linger long after they have hit the target e.g. Immoral thoughts and images, temptation, ungodly behaviour, false teaching etc. • Notice in Ephesians 6:16 that the bible says above all(KJV) this means faith is priority. • The fiery darts and arrows are launched at Christians by demons and demon cultures. • Faith is belief and trust. • During battle shields are linked meaning God’s people must come together in church and small groups to watch one another ‘s back. • There is no room for lone rangers. THE HELMET OF SALVATION • The helmet protects our minds and our thoughts against unrighteous thoughts. • The battle field of spiritual warfare is the mind. • Thoughts create emotions which create actions. • Our thoughts are of central importance to our victory. • The helmet of salvation provides the believer with the mind of Christ and the wisdom of God as he enters the battle. THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT • This is the only offensive weapon • The sword of the spirit is the Word of God. • We must have knowledge of the Word of God on the issue of our lives • When we are ignorant of the Word of God concerning the issues in our lives we become defenceless against the enemy • IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE WORD OF GOD YOU STAND THE RISK OF SINNING AGAINST GOD- PSALM 119 V11 • This is the only offensive weapon. • The word of God slashes the enemy. • By nature the word is living and active and a two-edged sword. Hebrews 4 :12 … For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. • It is the rhema of the word and not the logos that is the offensive weapon. THE SETTLED WOMAN

1 PETER 5:10: But the God of all grace, who has called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, will make you perfect, established, strengthen and settle you. THE GLOBAL PLAN OF GOD IS FOR EACH OF US IS TO BE SETTLED IN LIFE. FOR US TO OPERATE IN LIFE FROM A POSITION OF DOMINION AND REST. A settled woman must move past her pain, indeed you might have suffered a while in your marriage, over that child, concerning that financial challenge or even in your health, but weeping only endures for a night. You must move through perfection as The Lord brings you into circumstances that perfect your imperfections, your weaknesses, your character deficiencies and improves your life. Then you begin to get established by God, in the things of God and in your purpose and calling. You begin to lay good foundations, build strong pillars, take territories and position yourself for greatness. Strength is then released from God to your purpose and calling, strength from numbers, strength from people, strength from goodwill and financial strength. Finally you become SETTLED, OPERATE IN REST AND WALK IN DOMINION. GOD WALKS US ALL THROUGH THIS PROCESS THOUGH IT MAY TAKE YEARS FOR SOME OF US TO GET TO THAT POINT OF REST AND DOMINION. THE SETTLED WOMAN MUST BE SETTLED IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS;

HER RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD..

*Be born again and know God personally. You cannot profit from your relationship with God beyond your level of knowledge of Him. Your joy will only be as deep as the depth of your knowledge. Read God's Word and fellowship in prayers. 1Cor 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. (1 Corinthians 15:34 KJV) 2Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. (2 Timothy 1:12 KJV) *LOVE GOD. Love is one of the foundations of Holiness. *BE OBEDIENT TO HIS COMMANDMENTS whether convenient or inconvenient, do not live with an area of disobedience in your life.

HER PERSONAL LIFE.

Develop your personal life and grow steadily, you must attain physical and spiritual maturity. Luke 2:52 says And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. *INCREASE IN WISDOM You must embrace wisdom. Proverbs 14:1 Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands. ONE IMPORTANT MATERIAL NEEDED TO BUILD A HOME IS WISDOM. Wisdom is the stability of the home. Isaiah 33:6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure. (Isaiah 33:6 KJV) Be a woman that fears The Lord. Proverbs 9:19 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. A woman who does not fear The Lord will not have a good or strong personality. The fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom and not the only thing so you continue in the wisdom of God by OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD. Deuteronomy 4:5-6 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. (Deuteronomy 4:5-6 KJV) Have inner peace. Be a praise full and joyful woman. INCREASE IN STATURE Never live a stagnant life, read books, visit new places, get a new friend, enrol in a course. Grow your mental stature and improve yourself, INCREASE IN FAVOUR WITH GOD YOU MUST ENDEAVOUR TO PLEASE GOD MORE Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV) BE A WOMAN OF FAITH like Rahab, Ruth, Esther, Deborah etc. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4 KJV) INCREASE IN FAVOUR WITH MAN Do good to others, have a good character, change your ways if you are having negative feedback about your character.Proverbs 11:27 He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. Your good will always conquer evil. Acts 10:38 Jesus went about doing good

HER FAMILY LIFE AND MARRIAGE

*Take charge in the place of intercession for your family. * Give attention, time and care to your family and your home. * Marriage is a one handle door once you enter no going back. Do not compare your husband with other men. Even if he failed before encourage him and know you are in his life to bridge his weaknesses. *Do your best to bring up your children in the way of The Lord, sow your time into their lives. *Make up your mind to be a virtuous woman. Proverbs 12:4A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones. Make your husband's life better by your personal commitment. Be wise in putting your opinions forward without argument. Men like to be celebrated because of their ego, when you promote your husband you will be promoted.

HER CALLING, CAREER OR MINISTRY

*Discover your purpose in life Prov 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. (Proverbs 29:18 KJV) Your provision will come when you are in your vision. *Be diligent in your calling, the job of a woman is not easy. Many times women will be up praying of working or cooking and men will be sleeping. Proverbs 22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. LESSONS FROM JOB

The story of Job is a classic case of unwavering faith in God in the face of adversity. It shows that God is faithful and rewards your patience, obedience and trust in Him. LESSON 1: Whatever you boast with is likely to be tested. Job 1:8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? (Job 1:8 KJV) So when you are proud of anything or anyone you should intercede for that person or thing. It is common for people who are being openly appreciated or favoured to start committing blunders or start walking in pride. The devil is always bent on destroying their testimonies. LESSON 2: Job 1:20 Do not react in anger, try to control your emotion in the face of an emergency, tragedy or calamity LESSON 3: Compare Job 2:9 to Job 1:11. Be careful watch out for anger, disobedience and other negative emotions in your life. Do not allow the devil to use you to fulfill his evil agenda. Eve was used by the devil to carry out his evil agenda on Adam. LESSON 4: Your level of faith will be tested by the reactions of those close to you especially when you are going through a trial. Job 2:9 LESSON 5: Job was a very disciplined man: Job 31:1, Job was a mentor and encourager to many - Job 4:3-4 Job stood firmly trusting the Lord - Job 13:15 LESSON 6: God is mindful of what we say to people in adversity. Job 42:7 And it was so, that after the Lord had spoken these words unto Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath. (Job 42:7 KJV) LESSON 7: Job got restoration after he prayed for his friends - God caused people to bless him, his sisters, brethren and acquaintances. SPIRITUAL MATURITY

2 Peter 3:18 - But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. Grace is unmeritted favour, endowment or virtue. For us to enjoy increased grace it is important that we also grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus. To grow is to increase in capacity and capability. Growth here is not about years or age or physical stature but it is about SPIRITUAL MATURITY. Someone may be fat or tall physically but a dwarf spiritually. Let us look at THE STAGES OR LEVELS OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH STAGE 1: BABES IN CHRIST: 1Corinthians 3: 1-5: And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? Babes in Christ are those who not necessarily just got born again, but have not grown at all. They are Christians with no spiritual insight, they complain that the service is too long, nobody came to visit me, nobody loves me and so on, they are carnal and immature. They are full of strife, divisions, envy and bitterness. A BABE IS UNSKILLFUL IN THE WORD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. According to Hebrews 5:13 KJV For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. Hebrews 5:13 CEV says People who live on milk are like babies who don't really know what is right. So a babe is a Christian alright but he will still argue about paying tithe. He might have been born again for 15 years but he will still justify the need for him or her to drink alcohol. Babes will argue about tithe, alcohol and other issues because they are not yet discipled. Do not argue with babes rather pray for them and teach them the Word. If you are a Spiritual Babe you need to STIR UP YOURSELF ...HOW? i) If you want to grow, FIRST, you must drop petty things. 1Peter 2.1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings. ii) THEN DESIRE TO GROW BY STUDYING THE WORD. 1Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. STAGE 2: b) A CHILD OF GOD Anyone born again is a child of God. A child is easily influenced, has no mind of his own. swings like a pendulum, tossed to an fro by every wind of doctrine. A child is a SERVANT, controlled by tutors. According to Galatians. 4:1-3 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. YOU NEED TO STIR UP YOURSELF AND GROW Grow by building capacity, as you have shunned petty things and you are constantly drinking the milk of the Word, you develop capacity. WHEN YOU BUILD UP, GOD WILL SHOW UP. If you want more from God, then grow yourself. It is your responsibility to develop your capacity. Grow yourself by reading, teaching yourself and seeking knowledge. Read your bible as well as other books on development. You also grow by exercising your faith. When you are in any situation where your faith is being tested, stand firm on the Word of God. STAGE 3: c) SONS OF GOD Do not just operate as a CHILD OF GOD , but you mature to become A SON OF GOD. You begin to operate as a HEIR. Sonship is about dominion and inheritance in Christ. Galatians 4: 4-7: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. As a Son of God, you are a carrier of the manifestation of God according to Romans 8:19 : For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. It is only SONS that manifest. Spiritual babes still walk in fear, because THEY DO NOT KNOW THAT GOD HAS NOT GIVEN THEM THE SPIRIT OF FEAR. They have limited knowledge of the Word of God because they do not read the Word. Spiritual Children are immature, they are like spiritual slaves still controlled by the powers of this world. Slaves to money, addictions, tossed to and fro and are unstable. According to Galatians 4:1-3 CEV Children who are under age are no better off than slaves, even though everything their parents own will someday be theirs. This is how it was with us. We were like children ruled by the powers of this world. AS A SON OF GOD you carry tremendous spiritual capacity, you have impact. You do not react to issues like carnal men but from a spiritual angle. In the midst of the storms of life you are stable because you carry weight in the spirit. Sons of God walk in DOMINION and not in fear. Sons of God walk in authority. They know their inheritance in Christ and call things which be not as though they are. Sons of GOD fulfill their God ordained PURPOSE in life because they are well equipped. Sons of God feed on strong meat and not milk according to Hebrews 5:12-14 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Sons of God operate in the Spirit of Holiness according to Romans 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: (Romans 1:4 KJV) STIR UP, BREAK UP YOUR FALLOW GROUNDS, PUSH AHEAD. Even Jesus Christ was born as a babe in a manger and grew to be a Child and then to Sonship. God himself announced Jesus in Luke 9:35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. (Luke 9:35 KJV) SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT IS NOT A CHOICE IT IS MANDATORY. Even the disciples could not cast out the demon because they lacked capacity, but later the shadow of Peter healed the sick. The spiritual capacity that you develop will determine your level of success in life. You grow by feeding, read the Word, hear the Word from God's servants. Jeremiah 3:15 says And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Then you increase your capacity by exercising your faith based on the Word. Stir up the gifts of God in you. Walk in dominion, enter into Kingdom service, potential is released in the place of sacrificial service. Develop yourself and get relevant information where needed. THE ROLE OF WOMEN AT EASTER

Right from the time that Jesus Christ was about to be crucified up till when he rose from the dead and ascended to heaven, the bible has records of some women's involvement with the events that unfolded. In Mark 15: 40 CEV some women were looking on from a distance. They and many others had come with Jesus to Jerusalem. But even before this they had been his followers and had helped him while he was in Galilee. Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of the younger James and of Joseph were two of these women. Salome was also one of them. WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS PASSAGE The bible identified three women in particular MARY MAGDALENE, MARY THE MOTHER OF JOSEPH AND SALOME. We will use these three women as representation of the womenfolk. Look at the profiles of Mary Magdalene, she had a bad past but Jesus gave her a new beginning. Before the resurrection there was the crucifixion, a time of pain, agony, despair, when things are not going right. When faith is weak and hope is dim. These women knew Jesus they had ministered to him in Galilee. There will be times that our faith will be tested, when we pass through situations that are contrary to what we expect or believe, it may be a particular challenge in your life, marriage, business or health. AT SUCH TIMES, HOLD ON, STAY STRONG because a RESURRECTION MORNING is coming. Mark 14: 47 Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joseph were watching and saw where the body was placed. These women were afar but they were not cut off, they were abreast of everything they had firsthand information, because they were observant. As a Spirit filled woman, Keep on praying, keep on believing, keep on confessing the Word of God but be aware of what is going on around you, in your family in the lives of your children, what are their peculiar challenges, what remedial actions can you take. This will even inform what you pray about. Do no delegate your motherhood to hired helps, be on top of things. Do not delegate your wifely duties give time and attention to your husband. Be aware of what is happening in your nation and intercede. Jael was a housewife but was very aware that Sisera was against Israel and she killed the enemy with her hospitality. Mark 16: 1-2 CEV After the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene, Salome, and Mary the mother of James bought some spices to put on Jesus' body. Very early on Sunday morning, just as the sun was coming up, they went to the tomb. These women were diligent and committed to the Lord Jesus even in death. While Peter a high level Apostle had denied Jesus and was probably hiding away, these women came out early on Sunday morning and went to the tomb with the spices they bought with their money. As a woman this Easter renew YOUR COMMITMENT TO GOD. Your commitment is shown with your level of DILIGENCE in your purpose, your calling, your vision and your mission. Whatever God has put in your hands. Invest your resources in God's service like these women bought spices. Mark 16: 3 - 6 CEV On their way, they were asking one another, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance for us?” But when they looked, they saw that the stone had already been rolled away. And it was a huge stone! Just like these women had a concern, a challenge and they were worrying about it. You may have an issue that you are wondering about. Whatever may be bothering you at this time, the message of Easter to you is that THE STONE HAS ALREADY BEEN ROLLED AWAY. No matter how huge the stone of your challenge is, God is able to make a way for you. Mark 16:5 -6 The women went into the tomb, and on the right side they saw a young man in a white robe sitting there. They were alarmed. The man said, “Don't be alarmed! You are looking for Jesus from Nazareth, who was nailed to a cross. God has raised him to life, and he isn't here. You can see the place where they put his body. WOMEN WERE THE FIRST TO DISCOVER THAT JESUS HAD RISEN. THROUGH THEIR DILIGENCE, PERSISTENCE AND COMMITMENT TO THE SAVIOUR a) Your role as a woman is to be Spirit filled by seeking God diligently, in prayers, studying the Word and in service. He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. God will reward you with testimonies, revelations, insights that others may not have. Even before the apostles knew the women had privileged information. b) Mark 16:7 CEV Now go and tell his disciples, and especially Peter, that he will go ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there, just as he told you.” We are to bring the good news of the gospel, the resurrection to others. We have a role in evangelizing others, bringing them to Christ. As women we have a role in nurturing those who may seem very weak right now but have incredible potential. Peter was fearful, exuberant, unstable but, HE HAD A TREMENDOUS AND STRATEGIC ROLE TO PLAY IN THE TRANSITION OF THE GOSPEL OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST TO THE NEXT CRITICAL LEVEL. As a woman there are people under your sphere of influence right now that are not pleasing to be with, that look like failures but you have the responsibility to nurture them AND BRING OUT THE BEST IN THEM, WITH YOUR LOVE AND PATIENCE. So our role this easter is to use our MOUTH WISELY, let our words be seasoned with grace as we speak to our husbands, children and everyone under the sphere of our influence. Just as we are expected to make nice meals for our family this season, we must minister the love of our RISEN LORD. THE POWER OF RESURRECTION IS ABOUT *RESTORATION - Whatever has been lost God is able to bring back. * DEAD THINGS COMING BACK TO LIFE...dead marriages, relationships, finances can be revived. * THE TRIUMPH OF GOOD OVER EVIL. * WEEPING MAY ENDURE IN THE NIGHT BUT JOY COMES IN THE MORNING * THE ESSENCE OF OUR FAITH IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, BECAUSE HE LIVES, WE HAVE ASSURANCE OF ETERNAL LIFE WITH HIM. WE WITNESS ABOUT A RISEN AND LIVING CHRIST, AND THIS IS THE CRUX OF OUR FAITH. HE IS ALIVE FOR EVERMORE HALLELUYAH!!! Busola Jegede.
